Program Director/Mentor

Hello, my name is Timothy Smith.

I am Lead Minister and Founder of H&H Ministries.  I am also a mentor for the Snap-2-It Initiative. I love God and understand the importance of putting him first in my life. I’ve been mentoring young men for over 10 years. I’m a conversationalist, I love sports, (my favorite player in all sports is Stephen Curry) traveling, going to movies, bowling, music, hanging with friends and learning new things.

Always looking to meet new people.

I was born in New Haven, CT. Raised in Greenville NC. Graduated from South Central HS in 2005. I was employed with ECU Health Medical Center for 16yrs. I also worked as a patient transporter for 11yrs. My current position is an Anesthesia Technician. I volunteered at the hospital for 8 months before I was hired full-time. So don’t sweat the struggle with determination and willingness you can do anything. I am a member at Burning Bush Pentecostal Holiness Church where I serve as a Deacon under the leadership of the late Bishop F.L. Boyd.

Congratulations to our program’s first high school graduates!

Snap-To-It Initiative Application

Dear Parent/Guardian:

You have chosen to have your child participate in the Snap-To-It Initiative Program. In our program, your child will be matched with an adult volunteer mentor who will meet him/her at your home and take her on various excursions in to the community. The volunteer will act as an adult role model and source of friendship and encouragement. The activities between your child and the mentor will be monitored by the Program Manager in charge of the relationship.

We believe that all children greatly benefit from having a positive adult role model in his/her life. We hope that through participating in the mentoring program your child will feel supported in making good decisions about their lives and their future. We respect your role as a parent/guardian and will provide an opportunity for you to meet with the mentor and be involved in the development of their relationship.

As your child goes through the program, we will be evaluating his or her satisfaction with our program and his/her mentor. All information gathered about the effect of the relationship on your child is strictly for the purposes of evaluating the program and will be kept confidential. If you would like your child to participate in the program, and you have spoken with your child about having a mentor, please grant your permission by signing below.

Our Program Manager will soon be in contact with you about your child’s new mentor. Thank you for your time. We hope this program will be of great benefit to everyone involved.

Sincerely, Program Manager
